Sets up a connection to Dynamics CRM which allows you to synchronize data such as contacts and sales order information.
Set up a Dynamics CRM connection to enable
seamless coupling of data.
Once coupled, we can access Dynamics CRM
records here and, for some entities, access records from Dynamics CRM. We can
also synchronize data between records so that data is the same in both systems.
Configuring
CRM with NAV is simplified in Dynamics 365.
We can setup
with few clicks.
First we
need to make sure that we have setup proper “User Experience” in Company
Information Page.
Experience
Specifies for which
application areas fields and actions are shown in the user interface. This is a
way to simplify the product by hiding UI elements for features that you do not
use.
We need to
have "Suite" in experience to use CRM integration.
Now Go to
Assisted Setup and tasks page
Click on Set
Up Dynamics CRM Connection
DYNAMICS CRM
CONNECTION SETUP page will open
Click Next
Here we need
to Enter the URL of the Dynamics CRM server that
hosts the solution that you want to connect to.
Click Next
Here we need to enter the
credentials for the Dynamics CRM account that will be used for the integration.
Create a specific
Integration user in CRM and enter here.
And also enter the
credentials for the Dynamics CRM administrator account that will be used to
import the Dynamics CRM solution.
Click Next
Select the appropriate
check boxes as per your requirements
Click Finish..
