Integrating D365 Business Central with Shopify - Part 1
Let’s say, you already using Business Central and want to try
Shopify as an online store.
The Items in Business Central are equivalent to the products in Shopify.
In
Business Central go through the following steps:
1. Go to the search icon, enter Shopify
Shop, and choose the
related link.
2.
Open the “Shopify
Shop Card” that you want to integrate
3. Select To Shopify in
the Sync Item field.
4. Enable Can Update Shopify Products toggle.
5. Select To Shopify in
the Sync Item Images field.
6. Enable the Sync Item Attributes toggle.
7. Enable Inventory Tracked toggle.
8. Select Deny in the Default Inventory Policy.
Now,
Sync the Business Central items to Shopify products
1. Go to the search icon, enter Shopify
Products, and choose the related link.
2. Choose the Add Items action.
3. In the Shop Code field,
enter your shop code.
4. Define filters on items as required. For
example, you can filter by item no. or item category code.
5. Ex: Set the filter TABLE|CHAIR on the Item Category Code field
(add filter field if necessary).
6. Select OK and wait until the initial
synchronization of items and prices is completed.
7. The resulting items are automatically created
in Shopify with prices, but images and inventory levels aren't included. The
operation might take some time if a large number of items is added.
8. Choose the Sync Product Images action.
9. Choose the Sync Inventory action.
Now, the Product Images and Inventory is
synced to Shopify
