Microsoft Dynamics NAV Tablet Client:
In Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 Microsoft introduced a new interface called Microsoft Dynamics NAV for Tablet. The Microsoft Dynamics NAV for Tablet allows users in small and medium sized businesses to access data from a tablet.
Developing for Microsoft Dynamics NAV for Tablet is very similar to developing for the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Web client using the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment.

ReplyDeleteHi Mohana, Thanks for the Update.
ReplyDeleteIS there any way we can start using NAV 15 right away ?
No, We have to wait till it is officially released.
ReplyDeletethank you, do you also know the Service adress for the app ?
ReplyDeleteUpdate blog with App link.
ReplyDeleteIs that what you mean?
when you install the app from iTunes Store or Windows Store , the first question from the app is: enter the Service Adress for the App.
Deletedo you know the Service Adress based on Standard Installation of Cronus Beta 8.0 ?
The app, which you download from iOS App Store, Google Play, or Windows Store, uses the service URL to connect to your company's Dynamics NAV 2015 server.
DeleteThe service URL is in the format https:/// such as https://nav.contoso.com/en
Please paste an example on the table/app url. I have https working on web client.

Henrik
https://server:port/webInstance
DeleteI'm also facing difficulties with the app service url.
DeleteI'm able to open NAV for tablet in browser mode, but not via the dedicated app.
My url in the browser https://servername:8081/DynamicsNAV80/WebClient/tablet.aspx.
Should I activate something else ? Devices MAC address ? Setting on NST ?
same here
Deletei'm able to connect to
https://localhost:443/DynamicsNAV80/WebClient
and to
https://localhost:443/DynamicsNAV80/WebClient/tablet.aspx
via browser but not via the app on the same machine
Same here. All works, expcept for the app itself (trying with the Windows one).
ReplyDeleteHi Mohana, does the app connect to the middle tier or web server? I'm not clear if it's the client services port number I should be using or the https port on IIS. Also are any logs created when it doesn't connect and just errors saying "Could not connect to Server".
ReplyDeletehi Mohana, can we install Tablet client in Android phones? i tried to install from play store, getting "Not supported" message.
ReplyDeleteDoes the Tablet Interface have Job Card Processing ?
